For Adobe Workfront, I developed a storyboard-driven visual narrative illustrating how cross-functional teams navigate the complexities of new product development—and how Workfront helps unify communication, planning, and execution across the process.
The piece was created to support a motion-driven explainer focused on operational clarity, collaboration, and digital transformation inside enterprise organizations.
Rather than relying solely on static UI demonstrations, the concept translated complex workflow challenges into an approachable visual narrative using metaphor, environmental transitions, and simplified character interactions.
Approach
The motion sequence was designed to progressively visualize the growing complexity of enterprise product development workflows.
I developed a sequence of illustrated frames designed to guide viewers through escalating operational complexity before transitioning into a more streamlined, connected workflow enabled by Workfront.
Each storyboard frame combined:
• environmental storytelling
• transition planning
• motion readability
• and metaphor-driven visual communication
This approach allowed the motion designer to animate scenes efficiently while maintaining a human, approachable tone. Selected frames below illustrate the narrative progression from operational friction to streamlined collaboration enabled by Workfront.
